The 2015 EcoBoost Mustang: 31 MPG Highway Worth It?

The 2015 Mustang will be offering a 2.3-liter I4 engine with a turbocharger bolted on to it, which is under the wing of Ford's "EcoBoost" engine series. The engine is reportedly sipping fuel at 22 city/31 highway MPG for an average of 26 MPG. These figures were shown with a six-speed gearbox, as the numbers for the automatic tranny weren't released as of yet.

It is expected that the 4-cylinders are going to be pushing out around 310 HP and 320 lb-ft of torque after boost.
